Computer lab class 10/22

Today in class you need to complete these 4 objectives:

Resources you can use today in class:
-Any appropriate website
-Your textbook
-Your notebooks

1-Write in your notebooks these three things for each of the following brain parts:
     1-It's name
     2-It's main function
     3-A fact about the part
The twelve brain parts are:
-Temporal Lobe

-Frontal Lobe

-Occipital lobe

-parietal lobe

-Brain stem

-Cerebellum

-cerebrum

-Hippocampus

-Amygdala

-pituitary gland

-hypothalamus

-thalamus

2-Label your Brain cap- Identify where each of the above parts are in the brain and label where they go- make sure you write your name on the bottom rim of the cap-
(Give the marker a moment to dry so you don't smudge your brain cap)
    1- The left side should have the different lobes labeled
    2- the right side should have all the inner brain parts labeled- you can draw in some of the parts

3-Brain part cards complete an index card with the following information on it, write in the first person as if you were the brain part, you can get creative and be boastful about how you are the best part of the brain-
    1- I am the...
    2-My main function is...
    3- If I were injured then....

ONCE THESE THREE OBJECTIVES ARE COMPLETE PLACE YOUR NOTEBOOK, BRAIN CAP, AND BRAIN CARD INTO YOUR FOLDER, AND THEN GIVE MR.RHONE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO MOVE ONTO THE NEXT STEP.

4-FIX YOUR PRESENTATIONS-
Your power point presentations were SUB-PAR to say the least. Give me your email address so I can return your digital project. You will then go through your presentation and include more information on each slide.

Step 1-Make sure the information on your slide is accurate and free of grammatical issues
Step 2-Search the internet for information about the subject of your photograph and add one more piece of information on the slide.

The end game here is to have 2 pieces of information on each slide; 1 describing what the picture is of and the 2nd about the brain or neuroscience in general. t
